Introduction

For my A2 portfolio I have decided to create a teaser trailer with a magazine cover and a poster. I chose this because of my previous experience during my AS portfolio where I created a magazine cover and took part in a documentary in the British Museum. I have decided to build on the skills that I have gained. Also the resources such as computers and cameras that I have worked with before will aid me to develop my teaser trailer, film magazine cover and the poster for it. The genre I have chosen is horror as it is very eye catching and appeals to a large audience.

I plan to carry out the project through using technology such as mobile phone cameras, hand held cameras and computers to help edit and produce my teaser trailer. I plan to carry out research for my magazine cover and the poster through looking at previous research I have done on the same criteria and looking at websites that may have useful information.

I hope to achieve, in this project a horror teaser trailer that appeals to a wide audience that are over 18. My magazine should aim to capture those who watch horror films and others who wouldn’t usually watch one.
